TODAY MY SON GOES TO REHAB

Charlie can't do it any more.  He knows he needs help and has finally asked for it.  I am flying him out to California today.  I ask for your prayers that God enlightens those that will treat him.  That He guides them to help my son finally rid himself of drugs and get his life back.  I can only pray with every ounce of strength I have that this works.  For him.  For me.  For all of us.

  1. Elena,

There is nothing worse than watching your child fall down and not being able to help them up. I am so proud of your son for taking this step and of you for being so supportive. I will keep you guys in my thoughts.

  2. Elena,
My prayers go out to you and your family. Admitting he has a problem is a step in the right direction. Shari (cricutrookie)

  3. Elena, your post gives me hope. my daughter has been an addict for years and I know the pain you feel. I will certainly pray for your son, that God will give him the strength to heal himself. The hardest part,I think,is to admit the drug problem..the hardest work comes now. Your suppport will certainly be a big help to him. I can only hope and pray that one day my daughter will take this first step. My prayers go to your son and to all who love him..drug addiction affects all who love the addict. Ann

  4. I know what an ordeal this has been for you, your son, your whole family. The fact that you have remained the upbeat supportive friend you are all the while this has been going on says volumes about you and your beautiful spirit.
Charlie is in my prayers, but one thing I know for sure, is that your strength and faith will get you through this.
    Much love
    Eileen
