So hard letting go

The right thing - the humane thing - to do is to let her go. But you can't help telling yourself that maybe a few more days... Another week. We are both heart broken

Bernie had always wanted an afghan and Dixie was everything we ever wanted her to be and more.

    Oh, no, I am so sorry about this. What a tough decision to make. She is such a beauty and still young. It's extremely too sad... My love, compassion and sympathies are with Dixie and you two.

    I'm so sorry. I had to put my Peke down 3 years ago and it still troubles my soul. You're right -- it's very hard to let them go. In time, I hope you will be able to welcome some new little ones into your lives.

    Oh my dear, dear friend. How my heart grieves with you! You will all be covered in prayer, especially for a gentle passage for Dixie, and for you and your family, that God's love will fill the vacancy there. I am so dreadfully sorry for your loss. (((((HUGS)))))

    I'm so sorry you have lost another family member. I keep typing things to say how sorry I am, then deleting them. I am just at a lose for words but know that my heart goes out to you and Bernie.
