This is Dixie. My beautiful baby girl. She has been such a joy. So much fun.
She is 3 1/2 years old and is dying from cancer. It has spread to her spleen, liver, lungs, brain.... She will be put to rest on Monday morning. But for this weekend, she will be loved.

Omg,not another one of your dogs!? The photos of you and Bernie with her just are breaking my heart. She is obviously loved. And you are right that it is the humane thing to do for her? I will ge keeping her and all of you in my heart Monday. Extra big hug? Xo
ReplyDeleteElena I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful friend. A very wise friend told me that animals were put on this earth to ease our pain. That was their sole purpose - to accept us not matter what, make us happy, ease our pain. I believe your friend Dixie did just that. You have gone through alot the past few years. Now it was your turn to help her.
