My brother's "babies" are all grown up!!! Lauren and Bella are at the age now where they are starting to go to parties. My poor brother is having a nervous breakdown!!! LOL! His girls are growing up and he can't take it!

Marita's Lace Book

I have had Marita's lace book for two months. Between the retreat, my being ill and the issues with my mom, I could not have created my own signature.

But it's finally done. I am sending it out to Eileen today. So much wonderful lace in this book!

A MIRACLE!

Ten days ago, while my mother was in intensive care, the doctors told us to contact hospice and make funeral arrangements. My brothers and I walked around the hospital totally shellshocked. We were starting to mourn her even while she lay in the bed in intensive care.

God is not ready to take her yet. She made a recovery that has shocked her doctors and thrilled us. She left intensive care to a regular room and then was moved to a rehab hospital in Hollywood Florida which is absolutely fabulous.

These pictures were taken of me and my mom today. Can you believe it? My mother has more lives than a cat and more desire to live than anyone I know.

MEET MOLLY!!!

I have always loved the Mini Cooper.  In January my friend Jacquie and I attended a workshop in Donna Downey's studio in North Carolina. It was an unbelievable workshop on Pan Pastels.  If you ever get a chance to take it don't hesitate!!!  But I digress!

Donna had just bought a Mini a few days before and she was thrilled to death.  She took both Jacqui and I to her home in her new Mini and it was love at first ride!!!

Donna named her car Sally - yes, obviously I am not the only one that names their cars!!  The funny thing was that that was the name I had chosen!!  Anyway, my lease didn't expire until April 30th and yesterday I went and chose Molly!!!  She is absolutely adorable.

The model is the newest one for the Minis - the Paceman.  It is so damned cute I can't stand it!!!  LOL!!!

A LONG HIATUS

I can not believe it has been two months since I posted anything!

After the March 9th post we had a wonderful retreat for our Keys 4 Art 2013.  I have to say I believe it was the best retreat we have ever had.  We rented a fabulous house here in the Keys which was so much more comfortable for everyone.  We got to spend so much more quality time together.  God I love these women.  They are funny, talented, loving and most of all great friends.  I probably will not go back and post specifics about the retreat - I lost my camera during the retreat and along with it all my pictures - but visit Eileen's Blog which is always wonderful and her five postings on Keys 4 Art 2013.

After the retreat I had some health issues which brought into focus that I am getting older and fighting it every step of the way!

Over the past week my mother has been in intensive care - one day they tell us to contact hospice and the next day they tell us she is better!!!  It's hard to be on this roller coaster!!

My beautiful grandbaby Maddie turned 3 years old on May 4th.  She is such a cutie!  She continues to be a terrorist but she is such a love bug you just have to forgive her!!

So here we are, two months later and I have missed venting with everyone.  Hope everyone is well and happy!  I will be more diligent about my posts!  So many things to share!!!!
