My poor baby

Simon is so sick. He has pulmonary hypertension which we have been treating for months. He is weak and so unhappy. We are sitting at the veterinary cardiologist waiting to have him checked again. He is 12 years old and seeing him like this is breaking my heart.

DECEMBER PARTY!

My friends and family are getting so excited about our back to the 70s party in December! My friend Tammy Hyde from Paper Niche in Ft. Lauderdale (one of the best scrapbook stores I have ever seen) sent me this proof for the Save the Date cards. I think it is perfect!!!



(And yes, I have already told her that there is a "t" missing from the word "bottoms".)

Toy Story Fever!

Kaitlynn is totally obsessed with Jesse from Toy Story and has informed us that she wants to be a cowgirl when she grows up. We came to Miami to see her this weekend and grandma made a trip to the Disney Store! Its so much fun being a grandma!

HOW CUTE IS THIS KID!!!?

YOU HAVE TO ADMIT I MAKE BEAUTIFUL GRAND BABIES!!! LOL!!! MADDIE JUST TURNED 3 MONTHS AND HAD HER FIRST STUDIO PICTURES TAKEN YESTERDAY.

HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A CUTER KID???? !!!!! (NOT THAT I AM BIASED OR ANYTHING!)

I WILL BE 50 IN 5 MONTHS!!

I have absolutely no idea how that happened! I take a nap at 25 and wake up and I"m almost 50 years old! I'm pretty lucky, I've been through a lot and have come out it stronger for it. I have a VERY SHORT bucket list and that is nothing to sneeze at!

My last birthday party was my 15s!! So, I have decided to not just have a party for my half century mark, but to have a BLOW OUT! I am still thinking about the details but the theme will be the 1970s! You remember those days don't you???? The tie-dye clothes, the platform shoes, the bell bottom pants!! Oh my how I loved those bell bottoms! The bigger the better!!

Everyone will be required to dress up in 70s style clothing - ALL OF IT!!! Headbands, jesus sandals, boots, and of course those wonderful platform shoes!!! I have already made plans with a DJ who will play music from the 70s and with a videographer who will have 1970s movies playing all night on a big screen. Can anyone say Saturday Night Fever?

Since I realize that digital scrapbooking is now a new "addiction", I wanted to keep it separate from my main blog, so I have started a new blog for my new adventure. Think about how wonderful digital scrapbooking really is!!! All you need is a computer, some uploaded pictures and VOILA! Instant gratification!!!

As a beginner, this is a great time to start a new blog and share not just my pages, but my mistakes, discoveries and triumphs with those who also want to learn to do digital scrapbooking. I hope to be able to share information on this blog that will help me and anyone else who wants to play along.

I'm not sure of the exact route this blog will take - it never ends up going where I think it will - but I envision a blog full of inspiration from different digital artists, with freebies and "how tos" so that you can learn right along with me! With links to wonderful classes, books and videos.
