Has everyone seen Julie's new dies???  They are fabulous!  My grand daughter Kaitlynn has been asking me to do an art project with her.   I ordered Julies house journal and her new stamps/dies.  This will be a project that Kaitlynn and I can do together.  It will be fun.

Julie made a great video for Prima that showcases these products.  I will upload it tomorrow.

I love Julie.  She came to teach at our retreat in 2011 and we all knew then that she would take off as soon as someone realized how awesome she was!  I am so thrilled that her art is so loved and appreciated!!

SPECTRUM NOIR MARKERS

I received a box full of these markers today!  

I couldnt figure out what colors to get so I got them all.

I have never used these and like the other 20,000 markers I have I probably wont any time soon!

Those who have used them....  Are they good??  How do YOU use them?

Zetti Fun

It has been a few years since I have done any Zetti at all.  I was hooked on it forever and then just got into other things…. you know how it is.

Anyway, we are doing a zetti page swap in one of my groups and I had to join in.  I felt SO rusty getting these pages done! But it was fun and I am glad we will be doing it every month for a while.

TRUE STORY!!!!

Kaitlynn (my 7 year old granddaughter) is taking CCD classes so she can do her communion in the Catholic church.  On Wednesday my daughter took the girls to church for the Ash Wednesday mass.  This is a conversation they had in the car:

KAITLYNN:  Mom, I want to give up something for lent.  What should I give up?

KRISTINA:  Well, it has to be something you really love.  It is a sacrifice.  What do you really love?

KAITLYNN:  Candy!

KRISTINA:   Okay, but you have to understand that you can not have any candy at all for 40 days.  This is a promise you are making to God.

KAITLYNN:  Okay mom.  I can do it!

So Kaitlynn turns around and tells Maddie:

KAITLYNN:   Maddie, we are giving up candy for lent!

MADDIE:  We?  No Kaitlynn.  YOU are giving up candy for lent!  I did not promise God ANYTHING!!!

That kid just kills me!
