I am tired of feeling sad. After the awful massacre in Connecticut I realize that my problems are insignificant. My heart hurts for those people. And those babies.... What is happening in this country?! How can we tolerate a world where our children are mot safe in an elementary school?????

it is just unimaginable, isn't it? My heart just hurts, and I hugged my grandson a bit tighter and a bit longer yesterday. A dear friend is with her family in CT right now- her little grandson attends Shady Hook. He was one of the "lucky" ones- but who knows how long it will take him and the family to recover. Nightmares and feelings of hopelessness are not things our babies should experience at such a young age. I pray that there will come a day when our children can feel and be safe no matter where they are.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand what is happening, but I know that I believe, more strongly than ever, that the time has come for a ban on assault weapons. There is no place for them in this country. I'm going to do everything I can to work towards that.
ReplyDeleteElena, so am I so sad and it so awful and we do we do ... it hard to know what to even say let lone what to do it so sinceless and I do belive that he was all there . and that poor mother is better off with the way we think he treated her at least she is with god and no more pain from him I hope she never some in contact with him in there 2life .
