I don't know how I would have handled the traumatic things that have happened(are are currently happening) in my life without exercise. Even when I was teaching full time,I always tried to at least walk for a half hourewhen I got home,in the dark or not,on the treadmill or outside. It always always helps!
Now that I am retired, I have added Pilates and yoga to my schedule, and they are both wonderful.
After 50,for me,I know that if I didn't exercise,I would be 1. VERY fat and 2. Very wacko!!!

Just my 2 cents. If you really really follow the plan and keep track of points, that is. And as you know, I am WAY over 50.
I have so much stress right now over my mother that I haven't counted a point in weeks. And it shows.
We do what we can do, right?
EileenAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4387907746310436669.post-49362064031722690072011-06-23T20:45:16.267-04:002011-06-23T20:45:16.267-04:00Well I did it faithfully for over a month and lost...Well I did it faithfully for over a month and lost two lousy pounds. And I didn't do a bit of exercise, so I guess that's why! I don't have room for a treadmill in my NYC apartment and I don't like to go to gyms (though I've been a member for quite a while) so I guess I'm going to have to brave the streets of New York with my walking shoes on. Sigh. This process was so much easier when I was 20.terihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05095349422849979251noreply@blogger.com
